E100 Bible Reading Challenge
2011 saw the 400th anniversary of the printing of the King James Version of the Bible. To celebrate this, and encourage people to engage afresh with the Bible, the E100 Bible Reading Challenge was set up. You can find it here:
It encourages those who don’t already, to start reading the bible, using the 100 ‘essential’ readings suggested.
The programme is flexible; it can be used by individuals but it is more powerful when a group of people read the passages and engage with them together. The scriptures were intended to be read together.
There are notes available, to go with the readings which you may find useful. If you’d like to be part of a group to read with, please have a word with Peter Hemming:

I hope this scheme will encourage people to develop a regular habit of spending more time with God, reading the Bible and praying.
