Together we can a make a difference!
The St Chad’s Save the Planet Group meet together in fun, family-friendly, inter-generational activities to make a positive difference to our planet. Activities and projects to date include:
- The creation of the Headingley Community Herb Garden.
- Wild-flower seed-bomb creation at the Headingley Zero-Carbon Day.
- The creation of a wild-flower seed bed at St Chad’s Church.
- The Churches Count on Nature churchyard wildlife survey.
- Wild blackberry picking and jam making.
- Outdoor worship & nature walk.
- A Far Headingley family litter-pick.
- Participation in the Creation Care household questionnaire to help find new ways of caring for creationhttps://creationcare.org.uk/about/
