St Chad’s Mission Partners
People at the edges are at the centre of God’s story. St Chad’s has for many years supported The Church Mission Society (CMS), giving each year to support the work of a particular CMS worker out in the field: John Padwick in Kenya, Jane Shaw in Pakistan, the Walton Family in Tanzania, the Marshall Family in Malta, and currently, Awais Mughal, working with Asylum seekers and Refugees right here in Leeds.’
Awais promotes interfaith and intercultural understanding and teaches English among asylum seekers and refugees in her local area.
