St Chad’s Small Groups
One of the best ways to explore the Christian faith is alongside others. If you’re new to St Chad’s, our Small Groups are an especially good way to get to know people, make friends, and ask all those questions you’ve always wanted to ask! If you’ve been coming to church for years, you’ll find that Small Groups give great new perspectives, build friendships, and help you grow in faith and discipleship too.
“The small groups have really helped me understand more about the Bible and even familiar passages. Group discussions offer lots of different insights.” (James)

Each week the different groups meet in someone’s home for 90 minutes to catch up with each other, unpack and respond to the bible reading and sermon of the previous Sunday, and pray together, all with a cuppa in hand. There are evening and afternoon groups to choose from, running at different times of the week.
The groups run in bursts of five sessions with a social at the end. This allows you to ‘taste and see’ for a few sessions and then, if you like it, you can sign up for the next set when it comes round.
